Visit the project’s website<\/a><\/p>\n This website is a digital exhibition created by the Centre for Manuscript Genetics(CMG)<\/a>\u00a0at the University of Antwerp in conjunction with the Letterenhuis<\/a>, the literary museum and archive of Flanders.<\/p>\n This digital exhibition has been designed to give users an insight into the writing process and manuscripts that went into the creation of the collection of stories \u00a0Sheherazade by the Flemish writer Raymond Brulez (1895-1972) published in 1932.<\/p>\n The Centre for Manuscript Genetics (CMG) is a research group led by prof. dr. Dirk Van Hulle whose research focusses on the study of modern manuscripts and writing processes, especially comparative genetic criticism, digital scholarly editing and the analysis of manuscripts by authors such as Samuel Beckett, James Joyce and Willem Elsschot. Research team members from the CMG involved in this project are: Elli Bleeker, Aodh\u00e1n Kelly, Vincent Neyt and Dirk Van Hulle.<\/p>\n The Letterenhuis is the literary archive of Flanders. It collects and preserves manuscripts, letters, photographs and other documents by writers, poets, publishers and literary magazines from 1800 to the present. This digital exhibition has been built as a website that is simultaneously designed to be displayed to visitors in the permanent exhibition space of the Letterenhuis museum.<\/p>\n This project is made possible thanks to funding received from\u00a0DiXiT, the People Programme (Marie Curie Actions) of the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme FP7\/2007-2013\/ under REA grant agreement n\u00b0 317436.<\/p>\nProject Description<\/h2>\n
